前回の記事にてCentOS6でxfsを有効にした。

折角なのでxfsファイルシステムでフォーマットして、そのまま使ってみることにした。

追加したディスクを認識させる
まずは対象VMに2GBのディスクを追加しました。これをxfsでフォーマットします。VM上から追加したんですが、"dmesg |grep sdb"で何も表示されない。どうやら認識されていないようですね。

Virtual disk側のhost:scsi2を覚えておきます。以下コマンドで追加したディスクを認識させます。

xfsでフォーマットする
まずxfsを操作するコマンドを使うために、xfsprogsをインストールします。
# yum install xfsprogs
それではfdiskでパーティションを作っていきます。

作ったパーティションにファイルシステムを作って行きます。当然今回はxfsで作ります。

作成したsdb1をmountします。

作成した/dev/sdb1がxfsでmountされているのが確認出来ました。イェイ。
